Interested in joining Brazeau Regional Search & Rescue?

BRSAR is always looking for new members, without whom we could not provide our services.
We need people who have a strong desire to help others - people who are committed to serving their community - people like you.
Our volunteers work long hours, get bruised and bumped, they undergo fatigue, frustration and anxiety, they sweat… and ultimately, they experience a deep inner feeling of satisfaction for a job well done.
To participate, each volunteer is expected to pay annual membership dues, attend monthly meetings, trainings and information sessions. Each member must obtain a current First Aid/CPR certificate, instruction in the use of map and compass as well as a mandatory 40-hour Basic SAR Course. Additional courses are often offered, including Mantracking, Swift Water Resuce, ATV Training, Civil Emergency Response along with many, many more

*Previous Search and Rescue Training? Please check all that apply. If you have certificates from any of the fields below, please attach a copy to this form. Thank you!
